Vítimas estavam em bar na zona rural de Timon, quando oito homens armados e encapuzados chegaram atirando contra os clientes. Polícia Civil investiga o caso.

Um tiroteio em um bar no Povoado Piranhas, zona rural de Timon, no Maranhão, deixou dois mortos e três feridos por volta das 18h desse sábado (1º). As pessoas baleadas foram encaminhadas para o Hospital de Urgência de Teresina (HUT). Segundo a polícia, oito suspeitos armados participaram da ação, mas ninguém foi preso.
De acordo com o delegado Antônio Valente, da Delegacia de Homicídios de Timon, oito homens armados e encapuzados chegaram em dois carros e começaram a atirar contra as pessoas do bar. Alguns clientes pularam no Rio Parnaíba, que faz divisa com o Piauí, para fugir dos tiros.
"Os suspeitos estavam procurando uma pessoa e quando visualizaram o alvo, começaram a atirar. Muitos clientes correram, outras se jogaram no rio, por esse motivo o Corpo de Bombeiros foi acionado", informou.
As duas vítimas foram identificadas como Carlos Eduardo dos Santos Valadão, 23 anos, e Camila Gabriely Lopes Oliveira, 30 anos. Para a polícia, eles não eram alvos dos criminosos.
"Ele era estudante de Educação física e trabalhava em um supermercado em Teresina. Já a mulher era auxiliar administrativa na penitenciária em Timon. Ambos não tinham passagens pela polícia", destacou o delegado.
Após o tiroteio, a Polícia Civil de Timon iniciou as primeiras diligências para prender os suspeitos, mas ninguém foi localizado. Segundo o delegado, os feridos hospitalizados serão ouvidos.
"Estamos tentando entender o que aconteceu para saber a motivação do crime. Saber quem era o alvo dos executores, envolvimento dele em alguma atividade ilícita. Vamos no HUT para descobrir quem são essas pessoas baleadas", explicou o delegado Valente

A shootout in a bar in Povoado Piranhas, a rural area of Timon, Maranhão, left two dead and three wounded around 6 pm this Saturday (1st). The people shot were taken to the Teresina Emergency Hospital (HUT). According to the police, eight armed suspects participated in the action, but no one was arrested.
According to police officer Antônio Valente, from the Timon Homicide Police Station, eight armed and hooded men arrived in two cars and started shooting at people at the bar. Some clients jumped on the Parnaíba River, which borders Piauí, to escape the shots.
"The suspects were looking for a person and when they saw the target, they started shooting. Many customers ran, others threw themselves into the river, for this reason the Fire Department was called," he said.
The two victims were identified as Carlos Eduardo dos Santos Valadão, 23, and Camila Gabriely Lopes Oliveira, 30. For the police, they were not the targets of criminals.
"He was a physical education student and worked in a supermarket in Teresina. The woman was an administrative assistant at the penitentiary in Timon. Both had no passages through the police," said the delegate.
After the shooting, the Timon Civil Police began the first steps to arrest the suspects, but no one was found. According to the delegate, the injured hospitalized will be heard.
"We are trying to understand what happened to find out the motivation of the crime. To know who was the target of the perpetrators, his involvement in some illegal activity. We are going to the HUT to find out who these people are," explained Chief Valente.
